Popped over to Stonequarry Creek so I'll be keeping an eye on your progresss. I've got a lot of catching up to do by the looks!!

Cheers,
RobRobhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13558659139737613222noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7142331123363697961.post-39959721083578850372010-06-22T21:58:57.469+10:002010-06-22T21:58:57.469+10:00Hi Gary,

I then applied flat clear which ruined some of the decals. I think part of the problem was bad preparation and I think the printed decals probably need a coat of "liquid Decal" to make sure the printing stays in place. Looks Like Joe at Casula will be getting a call soon.

Thanks Again,
RobRobhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13558659139737613222noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7142331123363697961.post-85960193867154948182010-06-22T17:59:19.888+10:002010-06-22T17:59:19.888+10:00G'day Rob,

I modified a few Auscision NGPF's into NGTY's and the L7 logo's caused me dramas.
I set up a Blog for my Picton if your interested. I am not sure if I have done it right but it is called Stonequarry Creek and my user name is Towelly.

LintonTowellyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06909820437112491809noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7142331123363697961.post-35448710816972838632010-06-21T21:28:09.117+10:002010-06-21T21:28:09.117+10:00PS Very nice weathering!PS Very nice weathering!Gary Lakerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11827189280938138636noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7142331123363697961.post-50390885284747051462010-06-21T21:25:35.210+10:002010-06-21T21:25:35.210+10:00G'day Rob

Apply the decal with the help of Microscale 'Micro Set' and when completely dry brush on some 'Micro Sol'. Don't touch after this till completely dry. Seal with another coat of Glosscote and let dry. Weather to your hearts content, preferably lacquers, but not exclusively, and finish with Testors Dullcote. Haven't had a crook result yet.
If the decals look a bit 'sus' or are a bit old, brush on a coat of Microscale 'Liquid Decal Film' before cutting out and wetting the decal prior to application. Works a treat. All available from Casula Hobbies.

GLGary Lakerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11827189280938138636noreply@blogger.com
